Theme Getting VERY Messed Up After 2nd Post (6 posts)

    After posting a second time on my blog, everything gets very discombobulated. I tried switching to different themes, but none of them seemed to work. My site is only up on a XAMPP local server, but I posted some screenshots (using the default theme) at Flickr:

    Any suggestions?

    Actually, I think I've figured out what was wrong.

    I posted a few times, after deleting the other posts, and this time edited the html of the post to get rid of the code:

    "<div id="Clipmarks666BorderDiv966" style="border: 2px solid orange; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: absolute; width: 0px; display: none; z-index: 99999" />
    <div id="Clipmarks617BorderDiv1476" style="border: 2px solid orange; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: absolute; width: 0px; display: none; z-index: 99999" />
    <div id="Clipmarks632BorderDiv9215" style="border: 2px solid orange; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: absolute; height: 0px; display: none; z-index: 99999" />
    <div id="Clipmarks626BorderDiv4494" style="border: 2px solid orange; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; position: absolute; height: 0px; display: none; z-index: 99999" />"

    and p tags, and it works fine.

    Do you know how I could stop that HTML from being inserted? I searched the entire test server from Dreamweaver, and it found nothing.

    How about NOT using dreamweaver or front page or anything else that routinely throws crap code?

    Oh, and if you're trying to copy n paste from email, word docs, rtf files, or other web pages - DON'T.

    What?

    The problem was the default rich text editor. I just installed a WYSIWYG plugin and it works fine now. It had nothing to do with Dreamweaver.

    Ah? Apparently I misunderstood this statement: "I searched the entire test server from Dreamweaver, and it found nothing." Do you not use Dreamweaver to produce code then?

    And nothing in your posts indicated you were using the rte....
