    Hello,

    1. Is there a way to make your member's activity page the home page?

    I want this page as my homepage: http://i40.tinypic.com/2ynku2w.jpg

    In Dashboard I've tried "Settings > Reading > Front Page: Members" , but it didn't worked out.

    2. Is there a way to replace your update postings (see orange arrow) by a static profile field of your choice (i.e. brief introduction of your profile, with location / address/country you live).

    Sure you can...Irrespective of the theme you use, you can do this..
    Just install the plugin BP Profile as Homepage and activate it..

    Do you have an answer on question 2?

    Is there a way to replace your update postings (see orange arrow) by a static profile field of your choice (i.e. brief introduction of your profile, with location / address/country you live).

    first ,
    go to the index.php of ur theme,
    then make it empty,
    then include
    <?php include('activity/index.php');?>
    hope it works
