[Theme: Finex] Can JPEG image compression be avoided? (1 post)

    Hey there!

I do have an image compression issue with the Finex theme. However, I am not sure if it is based on the wordpress system itself or on the theme. As I didn't find any thread on this topic, here's a new one.

Every time i upload post photos/title photos (especially in the pagebuilder's portfolio type content areas), it seems they get compressed again, resulting in blurred lines and loss of details. As the uploaded images are screenshots of websites high detail is crucial here.

I tried uploading JPEG files, always cropped to the final size, with various resolutions (72 dpi, 96 dpi, 300 dpi). Also I set the medium image size in the wordpress options to the exact size of the post images which is 960x500px.

Is anybody around here familiar with that issue? Any hints on how to solve this problem or bypass automatic compression are highly welcome!

    Kind regards,
    Liz
