Theme Editor not working for one of my sidebar files

I have three sidebar files that I use for different pages. All have been working well until now. Then today I was making changes to my sidebar3.php and the file that came up in the edit window was not the correct one. And when I tried to update the file, it wouldn’t update. All of my other files update without a problem.

I have been able to go into the file manager for my webhosting site to make the changes there without problem. But I can’t figure out how to make the Theme editor window work for this one file. I tried switching to a different theme and then switching back. It didn’t help.

Any suggestions?
