   My question is can I use the "editor" in my dash board to edit my themes,or do I need to use a program,make changes and then re-download the folder in my directory?
   I hope that makes since.I am trying to use google web master tools and I am inserting the meta tag directly into my theme-editor and bringing up my header.php and copying the verification into the appropriate line where the code should be.
   I am trying to copy and paste since I am not all that fluent in code and don't want to break anything.

   Hi,

   It is better to download header.php file with FTP and edit it with your desired tool and add the meta tags contents...

   After this process completion you can re upload it on the server..
