   Hello I am new to using wordpress so forgive me if I do not use all the correct terms.

   We currently have a very basic wordpress.com site but I would like to move to a hosted site. I have set up a test site locally on Windows 2003 using wamp server 2.

   I have wordpress installed and able to access all of the pages and functions without issue locally on the server it is installed on.

   When I try to open the page from another computer on the network I am able to only see a text only form of the blog. None of the theme or formating open with the page.

   Im sure there is something simple that I am missing but can only find through search directions for installing with wamp that I have followed.

   Ensure that you don't use localhost in your site urls.

   I have noticed that the front page of the site uses my custom url but the pages and posts change to localhost.

   I have gone into phpadmin and changed the siteurl in wp-options and restarted services but that does not seem to have updated the links

   I found the one place in the Administration > Settings > General panel

   where I the wordpress address was updated to the custom url but the site address was still set at localhost

   after that was changed the issue was resolved
