[Theme: Custom Community] Change slider effects

I cannot locate the setting or Javascript that would allow me to change the transition effect for the image slider.

I also have 2 other pending issues that have not yet been answered that I would really like to resolve.

One is that the Home link disappeared from the navigation menu when I upgraded the theme to 1.17.2 (weird) The setting is enabled in the theme settings, yet it doesn’t appear.

More frustrating than that, the image slider on the home page no longer cycles through all the images. Not sure why, but this theme is looking like a thumbs down for purchasing the pro version for me.
