Theme CSS in Subscribe Widget is ignored (2 posts)

    This is a long-term issue.

    This widget strips out the theme CSS, and displays in a very un-ordered way.

    Are there any fixes that will at least position the feedback messages & the User Count on separate lines from the Title (!), let alone matching the Widget title display to other theme widgets.

    Hope the Jetpack gurus can clean this up quickly. Now that Feedburner is no longer an option, I am sure that this feature will be very much in demand.

    Thanks

    One way to override the inline CSS in the Jetpack subscribe widget, is to add !important after your style in your theme's CSS.

    So for example...

    padding: 6px;

    would become...

    padding: 6px !important;
