[Theme Creativix] Pages lose all formatting | WordPress.org

I installed the Creativix theme (v2.4 on WP 3.4.2) but the formatting is completely mangled when I display the pages. No images, links are all broken etc.

I’ve tried about 5 different themes and all the others work perfectly. I have a site on my local machine completely built out (v2.4/3.4.1 of Creativix/WP) and it’s working great. Maybe a compatibility issue with the WP 3.4.2?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update – I updated my local machine to WP 3.4.2 and I still don’t have the issue locally. So it doesn’t appear to have anything to do with the WordPress version.

Using the W3C CSS validator shows that your site is not linking properly to the stylesheet:

Thank you, that definitely points me in the right direction. Any idea what would cause that or how to fix it? It’s only this theme that has this problem.

Permissions maybe? I’ll start there…

Hmm, well I have no idea what I did to fix it, but somehow it’s fixed. I copied style.php back to fiddle with and ended up pasting the original file back on my site – and it suddenly worked.

Maybe in doing so I changed the file permissions? Not sure. But it’s working.
