Theme Bug – Media Files generate 1px thumbnails

When uploading images to a post, the autogenerated thumbnail is 1×1 pixels. This only happens when the customizr theme is enabled, when an image is uploaded in the default theme, the thumbnails are properly generated. All plugins were disabled during my troubleshooting.

Is there a fix for this right now already? Or will I need to (a) wait for a new version of the theme… or (b) find a new one? I need the thumbnails to be properly generated for use in widgets etc.
