In the Brunelleschi theme, how can I change the size of post title font? I need to make it smaller for my needs.

    Thanks,

    David

You'll have to touch the CSS code.
First look upon implementing child themes.

Then perhaps link us your website or at least a pastebin.com of your CSS and HTML

I would think the solution of reducing the size of post title font can easily be taken care of with the right code in the theme's css box.

    Does anyone know?

You don't want to edit the theme's css code.
Once the theme is updated, your changes will be lost.

I appreciate your help and offer to fix. The learning curve is better is I can do it with some tips. It's my impression that details about this lovely theme are sketchy. I would not know how to find a child theme.

I have read everything I can find about creating child themes but have not reached the magic "a-ha!" moment. I don't get it. Further, I have no idea where to edit the post title font to make it smaller. Can you please help?

    Thanks

Can you link your website to us, or Pastebin.com your HTML and CSS of the page?

I am sorry but I don't know what that means or how that's done. Packing for a trip. Perhaps I should reconnect with you in a week.

Hey, Andrew, I have created a pastebin account and have copy and pasted in the style.css code. How do I get it to you? Pastebin user "dehenderson" and bin i2TMVbDf.

I've got that CSS pastebin, can you too send over the HTML with the same technique? You just need to link me the URL when Pastebin has been created.

To grab the page's HTML, view the web page, right click and 'view source'. Use the entire content of that pop-up window.

That's the same as the CSS you previously linked me, perhaps you mistakenly copied the wrong URL?

I am trying to understand this request: can you too send over the HTML with the same technique? You just need to link me the URL when Pastebin has been created.

I assume it is this link: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=i2TMVbDf

It'll be a different link, make sure you're pressing the "create a new version of this paste RAW Paste Data" link at the bottom of the page.

    Hi Andrew,

I seem to be needing the same type of help. On my menu bar, the type size is good. However, when it shows on the individual pages, eg. "About us", etc. The type is too large for my design. I would like to make it a bit smaller, and tried finding it in in CSS. Was not successful. And it seemed to be in HTML size 30. I kept trying to make it 20. But it would just change back. I have not created a child's theme; don't know how to go about it.
My site is classicalhomeopathica.com and the template I'm using is Twenty Eleven.
    Thanks.
    Carolina

    Hi Carolina,

We share the same dilemma. I, too, want to change the post title font to something smaller than 30. I see yours is also bold. Mine is at http://www.bahaiwords.com.

I have found Andrew to be a man of great patience dealing with me. I will be monitoring your exchange while traveling and get back to my challenge next week.

    Best of luck,

    David

I have created a child theme using a plugin: one-click-child-theme. Now, to figure how to change font in Brunelleschi.
