Theme broken after changing Site Address and URL (7 posts)

So the problem that I am facing is that I was attempting to change my Site Address and URL. Being a newbie that I am, I did not know that this would create a lot of problems without following the correct procedures! I simply changed my url and site address from the general settings in WordPress. After I was not able to log back into my dashboard at all, or even load my page! I found the document http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL and followed the steps under the Edit PHP part. I did make the mistake of not removing those two codes from the function.php file after my site was running again though! =(

Now the problem that I am facing is that my theme will not work when I load the page outside of my dashboard. The odd part is though that the theme works perfectly when I load it up through my dashboard. I am very new still to website building. If someone could direct me to what sort of steps I need to fix my website I would be grateful!

The website is http://www.monticellodrugco.com (just in case its needed to understand the problem)! Thank you so much for the help!

Link to style.css that the site is using now returns server not found.

Link to the background image the site is using now loads image normally

So I tried changing the url in the first link to this, and it loads stylesheet just fine.

Conclusion, you just need to put in the right site url.

The details is in the codex you linked to. Nothing fancy, it's the same way that you did put the change, just make sure that you put in the right site url.

Ok, I am still having some issues. I tried doing the part on the Edit PHP part, where I updated the options:

I did this under the functions.php file of the public_html and then tried this under the functions.php file of the WWW folder as well of the Elogix theme. I also tried installing a new theme to see if that theme would work.. The themes are all working great from my dashboard.. but when I type in the website normally outside of my dashboard its not loading the themes =(

Ok, So the other themes are working on my site now... its just my Elogix theme that is staying broken. I tried un-installing and reinstalling the theme and it did not help. =\

The problem in the OP fixed ? The site now is able to load with its CSS outside of dashboard, right ? If so, please mark as resolved, so it won't get confused.
