    Hi,

    I'm currently using the Brespon Zive theme for my blog (http://www.raphaelsaadiq-and-soul.fr/). I have a little question, because I'm trying to customize it but I cannot do what I want to do.

    - I would like to change the blue color of the slider (you know, the "progress bar") but I don't know how to do. (I think I have to change the "element.style", but I don't know... It's javascript, I heard.)

    - Then, I would like to change the size of the slider. I Succeeded in change it by changing the percentage in line 27 of "camera.css", but I would like to completely change it, not "proportionally".

    I need your help, please, could you tell me how to do that these things? :)

    Thank you...

    Xavier

    PS : I'm french, sorry for my english.

    If you don't already have a child theme or a custom.css you should install a plugin like custom CSS plugin then add the following to the custom css area.

    1)

    span#pie_0 {
    background-color: #ff6600 !important;
    }

    2) decide what the sizes should be and change them like so

    .camera_wrap {
    width: 500px;
    height: 400px;
    }

    Ahhh, thank you very very much! :D It works! :D

    I would like ask a last question if you're okay... In fact I don't want to change the size of the slider, the size is good... But I would like to change the size of the pictures in my home (which are the same of the slider's pictures but smaller).

    I have done some screenshots to understand well.

    Here, I have my slider: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/411934831.jpg

    Here, in the home page, I have the same picture but smaller, proportionally smaller: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/914381712.jpg

    What I would like to do is changer the size of the small picture. Of course when I change the height and the width (I want a square of 160x160px, for instance), my picture is ouf of shape... Like: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/224873723.jpg

    Sooo, I would like to do it better, as if the pictures of the home were "extracts" of the main pictures, you know, as if we take a square at the center of elsewhere of the slider's pictures. Like that: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/217795214.jpg or http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/514506845.jpg

    Here the picture in the home that I want: http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/554620656.jpg

    I don't know if I'm very clear? :S

    you will need to create a Child_Themes and add a new functions for the desired image size then amend the index loop to call the new image size.

    But firstly I would go to Settings >> Media and amend the image sizes (make a note of what they are incase you need to revert them) then install a regenerate thumbnail plugin and see if that works

    Actually ignore my last comment - try this in custom css

    .magbig-thumb {
    height: 160px;
    width: 160px;
    }

    .magbig-thumb img {
    object-fit: cover;
         overflow: hidden;
    }

    First of all, thanks for answering. :)

    Your second solution doesn't work. I will try the first one!

    Hi

    Not sure what you are seeing but I don't think that is possible as the image is exactly the same in both counts... all the code is doing is hiding the rest of the image that falls outside the 160px... Maybe there is a caching issue. You should all another post / image to see if it is still an issue
