    I just started a new blog and I can't figure out how to make my google ads flush left. They are showing up as centered. Thanks!

    flush left

    Can you explain what these terms mean?

    It means not centered but it lines up on the left. If you look at the right sidebar on this page under "About this Topic" you will see that it lines up flush on the left.

    I don't see the text "About this Topic" on this page http://darlenescraftycrew.com/ .

    I'm talking about the page we are on right now. Just look over to the right. The sidebar is flush left, not centered, like this...

    See how everything we are typing lines up on evenly on the left? The google ads on my blog are not, they are centered.

    To align the Google advert text left, not centre, you could use this CSS;

    #ads ul li {
     text-align: left;
    }

    Maybe I should use the term aligned! I want it aligned left, not centered. I'm 52 and in my day we called that flush.

    I have no idea where I would put that code. When I stick it in the widget box it just shows up as text on my blog.

    I was just hoping there was something in the sidebar settings that would allow me to choose how the sidebar is aligned.

    In your plugins section of the Dashboard, can you see a Custom Style or Custom CSS plugin?

    Nope. Just akismet and jetpack.

    Can you try this plugin
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin/
    and plonk that CSS code into the section provided?

    Sorry, I know you are trying to help but I stink at all this so I'll just have to settle for centered ad text. I was just hoping someone could point out something in my theme settings. Thanks so much anyway. Darlene
