[Theme: Alpha Premium] CSS layout browser issues

    I am a beginner CSS and HTML 5 learner. I have taken over control of a site that has edits that are unknown to me. I am running:
    Alpha
    By WPExplorerVersion 1.3
    Alpha premium WordPress theme

    I have speculated that my display issues stem from problems with the CSS (that it has been altered), but none of my resolutions have solved it. I cannot locate any information about this wordpress theme in order to download the original css file to reset the theme.

    Problems displaying in IE and Firefox:
    Drop-down menus are not displaying properly, padding in sidebar is lost, footer background appears transparent instead of black. In Chrome, everything is normal. CSS advice?
