Adventure Journal is one of the wordpress themes that does not automatically contain a "HOME" tab on the navigation. I like the theme, but not having a HOME tab is poor UI. So, I want one.
To complicate matters, I chose Adventure Journal's header option to use my header image as my website title (see here http://www.stewardshipadventures.com). This *could* serve as a substitute for the HOME tab if the image were automatically hyperlinked to my home page. However, it is not. Again, poor UI.
Q: How do I get a homepage tab or alternatively hyperlink that header image to the homepage? I want my homepage to be the blog's landing page. THANKS.

Hi thanks. No, that's not quite what I mean. You are using that paper-clipped subheader, which is automatically hyperlinked to HOME. Adventure Journal provides the option of not using that and having your BIG header image be your title, and I took that option. But they forgot to add code to hyperlink that image should you choose that option.
Using the site's feature image as the site title is a bit of a fringe use case, but I'll definitely consider having it auto-link to home when the site title is disabled in a future update.
In the mean time, you can easily add a homepage tab to the top of the site from Appearance > Menus. On that page, find the "Pages" box on the left, and select the "View All" tab. There is an option there to add "Home" to your site's main menu.
