   Why doesn't the_title() return anything on pages in Twenty Ten? It's inside the loop and everything.

   I'm sure I am missing something blindingly obvious on this one.

   it's wp_title for pages, that's one reason... but it still isn't working. I think I broke something... interestingly, in my menu, a page title will show up in the menu on other pages, but it's a blank <a></a> when the page itself loads. How on earth did I manage to unset the title?

   de-activated and re-activated all plugins and it went away.

   Wish I'd done that about three hours ago.

   Mods - please delete.
