the_meta() won’t validate

    Trying out a new installation of WP i added custom fields to a post. This causes validation to break.

    For some reason WP adds paragraph tags around the unordered list. This is apparently not valid xhtml.

    I looked over the funktion, the_meta(), and the problem isn’t there.

    Is there a higher level formatting function that adds the paragraph tags? Can i fix it?
