So i started using the_excerpt function today for the first time and i am experiencing some funky results....
The function seems to work fine with posts that are over the text limit, however for short posts the function is adding the text "Tweet" after the content it is displaying...
What silly mistake have i made?

Do you have a URL to your site?
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Jerry - Sorry no URL, i am currently working on a local version of my site.
Esmi - thanks for the advice, i disabled the sociable plugin and it seemed to fix it. Hmmm i cant seem to find where the code is coming from... ill do some digging.
