[resolved] the_content not working on new server (2 posts)

I've been working on a WP based website and today I installed 2.0.5 on the webserver we're going to use for the live version. The install script seemed to work fine. With any template (including my own, kubrick and default), I get no content and everything below it is missing. If I remove the_content from my template I do get the footer and stuff, but a soon as I add it back in the page 'breaks' at that point.

This did not happen on my test server. I have only limited access to the new one.

I searched the forums and found people were having similar problems with certain permalink structures. I have not changed the permalink settings, they're at their default values.

Is there anything I can ask my host to check in terms of server settings, etc? Is there a permalink setup that changes absolutly nothing (i.e. resulting in 'index.php?p=1'), to rule out permalink trouble?

Oops, found it. Turns out a plugin didn't get uploaded properly and was messing thing up.
