   i've installed the newest wordpress 2.2.2.
   before that i've installed gallery 2.2.2.
   than i installed wpg2.2.13 and made auto configuration and everything was fine. than i downloaded default theme (for WP) improved to work with the gallery.
   after that it shows a random image from the gallery on the sidebar and everything seems fine.
   when you click on the thumbnail it doesn't show this picture in the gallery embedded rather it shows gallery embedded main page. whatever photo or album you click it always shows the main gallery embedded page.
   the gallery not embedded works normal.

   any ideas what may cause the problem?

   no
   now i did and i have found an answer.
   the problem is caused by URL Rewrite module. turning off this module solves the problem.
