   Adding media I receive this error message:
   The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/vhosts/consciouscup.com/httpdoc

   I've reset directory permissions to 755: same results. To 777: same results.

   Using Plesk I see the file owner listed as either "apache" or my FTP user name. Is that an issue?

   Check your PHP mode in Plesk (or your site management software).

   Mine was in "apache" mode. Set the mode to Fast CGI Applications.

   You'll have to delete "apache" owned folders.

   At last! I've been searching for ages for a solution. I changed mine in Plesk to Fast CGI Applications (didn't need to delete any current folders) and it now works thus far

   great
