Evertime i try uploading media to my word press i get this error "The uploaded file could not be moved to /domain/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2011/02" and i have tried changing the permissions to 777 and that still doesn't work.

Try changing the permissions on the wp-content directory to 766. If you still have problems, try 767, 775 or 777. Once your uploads are working, change the permissions on wp-content back to 755 again and check that everything still works OK.

The one way I found around this was to upload directly through C-panel. I tried changing permissions and a bunch of other things but never could avoid getting the "The uploaded file could not be moved to...." error message. When you go to the file manager in c-panel drill down to the file you want inside the wp-content file and upload it there. This even work with plugin zip files that also gave me headaches. Just extract the zip files after upload.

    Hope this helps
