Hey you, wordpressing people!
I have created a theme, which runs correctly on my blog. I then created a new blog on the same server (http://www.ordinary.ch/testblog) and afterwards uploaded and selected the theme, which is now totally "shiftet".
Please have a look at the differences between the two blogs and help me, thanks a lot!

well thank you, but i have over a hundred errors and quite a lot warnings as well on the blog, on which the theme runs properly. i think (most of) the errors are caused by the entries, because the blog which contains 35 posts has much more.
and also if the errors are caused by the theme - they should be on both blogs, shouldn't they!? they use the same theme and are located on the same server...
but you have some unclosed tags which makes me think this could be a problem.
I'm not trying to give you a hard time - validation errors lead to real display problems. As do too large of images - posting with a rich text editor, etc.

I did solve quite a lot of the validation problems. And I certainly see, that unclosed tags can of course be a problem. But if I have two blogs on the same server, with the same theme and the same unclosed tags, I do not understand that one is displayed correctly and the other is not. That's my big mistery...

They look the same except one has posts and one does not.
They also have the same errors.

I fixed the problem with a 'clear: both'. It was missing also in the blog, which worked, so it's still a big mistery for me, but it now does work properly. Of course I also added the clear to the one that worked;)
Thanks for your effort
