I've blogged for years, from Xanga to LiveJournal to Myspace, eventually creating a freely hosted blog. All were awful. I finally took a step up a few months ago and I'm liking it so far. I have a few big changes in mind for the new year, but thought I'd share what I've got so far anyways. Who knows? Maybe someone will like what they read and stick around. :-) I'm always open to comments and critiques on anything. Thanks!

Hi there, normlly in this forum we only talk about the design or changes that someone has made to the appearance of their blog.I'm not a big fan of the Mandigo theme, I think you could find something to reflect your personality more. However, its very clear to read, and I really enjoyed your posts, particularly the "bathroom etiquette"(how true) and your grandfathers 80th birthday, clearly you're a good writer, so I hope you keep writing. Good luck with the site.
Mike.

I really appreciate it. The mandingo theme is entirely temporary. I already have another in line to take over soon, with a custom header banner as well. I was mainly concerned with getting the writing up for now, and advance and customize the design as I go along. Thanks for the input!
Hi again, you're welcome, nice site, good luck with the new theme. Mike.

Did a redesign and added the custom banner I put together. It's still the Mandigo theme for now, until I find something I like and that suits my needs better, but I like it. All feedback welcome.

Looking good, and the custom banner is starting to tie the colours together well. Mike.

Very nice site. Good job! I personally prefer slightly smaller banners, but that is just personal style. The banner looks good. Nice, clean, organized layout.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the insight. I'll be editing the banner to see if I can scale it down a bit now that I've got a little feedback. As always, I appreciate it!
