the pop up disables the submit button in form

I am using the pop up to display a survey form. the form displays fine in the pop up but the submit button does not engage. When I insert the form in a page with out the use of the pop up it works just fine. this leads me to believe that there may be some conflicting code in the pop up plugin that is disabling the submit button.
