   The plugin version number hasn’t been changed in gd-star-rating.php – it still says 1.9.5. WP keeps reminding me that the plugin is out of date keeps telling me to upgrade to 1.9.6

   same here.. thought I had the wrong file at first.

   How to fix it?

   edit: It seems the download is the same as 1.9.5 (file dates are 9/26/2010)..

   perhaps the creator should re-upload the updated zip file.

   I am telling people all day: problem is with WP.org. Files I uploaded to SVN trunk are all correct, the archive coming from WP.org is wrong.

   Also, I got reports from some users that some other plugins have the same problem. Archive distributed by WP.org has old timestamp: gd-star-rating packaged: Sun, 26 Sep 2010 16:07:28 +0000, it's a whole archive, not one file. Website reports proper 1.9.6, and sends old version.
