The page isn't redirecting properly

    I am working on a pre-existing WordPress website. Made a change to the Page Attributes area, changing the “parent” and “template” options. I have since changed the options back to the original choices; now when i click on the link to the page on the live site i am getting this message from FireFox “The page isn’t redirecting properly”.

    1. I have restored wp-content folder and wp-config file: no change
    2. I have created another page (i.e. “page-2”) tested on the live site; new link worked.
    3. deleted original page, then renamed page-2 back to the original page; now i am getting the same error “The page isn’t redirecting properly”.

    What am I missing? Thanks!
