Read the installation instructions. You need to drag ask menu in your nav

Which I did. Thanks for the reply.

I added the ‘Ask’ to the navigation menu and when I clicked on that, I’m not seeing any form where I or someone else can type the question.

That is why I asked if asking questions can only be done within the wordpress dashboard?

    Here’s my url
    http://www.webbline.com

I added the ‘ask’ to the nav menu. If I clicked on that, you’ll see 1 question which I created from the wp dashboard.

    Am I doing right?

You cannot use ask slug. This slugs are used for ask page. Rename base page slug to other. And there are anspress menu section in menu editor… Tey dragging menu from there.

Okay, so here’s what I did.

    I created a page:
    http://www.webbline.com/qa

With the shortcode: [anspress] in it

Then I went ahead to the Dashboard > Appearance > Menus
There’s the AnsPress with the ff: options

    AnsPress
    Ask
    Categories
    Tags
    Users

I click the Ask > Add to Menu (button)

And now the Ask is in my nav menu. When I click that link, it shows the page correctly.

My question is, where is the form where my visitors can type their question? Does it have to be within the wordpress dashboard? No form on the page where they can ask directly?

Buddy then i think you need to rebuild your rewrite rule. Just flush rewrite rule(just re save your permalinks)

Then ask page will show ask form.

I can’t cross that line. I’m no WP expert.

Anyway, thank you very much for answering my questions.
