The New Add New Media 3.5 WordPress Doesnt Work!

    I just updated to wordpress 3.5 but now the add new media doesnt work! When i press the button noting happens.

    I didnt have any plugins running nor do i have one running now. Im running a premium theme, can that have anything to do with it?

    Your theme could also be the issue. Try switching to TwentyTwelve or TwentyEleven and see what happens. If that’s not the case, then maybe try to do a manual upgrade and ensure that you updated ALL of the WordPress files. It could be that something went wrong with the automatic upgrade.

    Thanks Christine for your helpfull answers, as usual.

    Now i changed to twentytwelve and there the add media worked. Does that mean that the problem is my theme?

    Yes unfortunately. I would contact the theme developer or find another theme.
    Hopefully you can find a solution quickly. 🙁
