The Loop in Pages?

    I want to have different variations of a blog on different Pages, ie., a Page called “news” which outputs posts with certain categories. Seems that “The Loop” within a “Page” will only return the page content.

    In the Codex, on the page about the loop, there’s examples on how to do alternate loops…

    How ever you may want to poke around the codex a little. What you are describing sounds more like a category archive type page. – As opposed to a page page.
