  • That looks really nice.

    OJ,
Nice…but don’t you mean “your” ideal WP Post page? It may be fine for some, but others might like another flavour or, perhaps even the default page.
    Diff’rent Strokes! 🙂

Fonts are pretty easily changed in the CSS…

    NM,
    Yes and No.
Considering that screen shot is just the advanced edit page with 3 items moved and a couple changes via CSS, it’s not too much of a far cry from the default.
    Alex,
Fonts are one thing. I think the major change is that the “Save & Continue Editing”, “Save” and “Publish” buttons are the last editing items listed besides “delete this post”.
From an end-user point of view, as it currently is doesn’t make much sense to have the publishing buttons displayed, and then underneath them have further options for editing the post – such as uploading images/files, trackbacks and the timestamp.
Also, if the “upload images/files” button was part of the normal post page – it would cut down on the people starting threads here asking where it is.

    OJ,
Keep the suggestions, coming, dude. Everyone’s ideas are subject to discussion, and, sometimes, debate.
    Craig.

OJ — would you mind making your version available for download? It would certainly solve the problems I’ve been having with the new interface!

Sure… lemme clean up the CSS a little more.
