The genesis grid loop has always worked great for me. All of the sudden, the thumbnail size for the teaser posts is no longer working on my new posts. My old posts still have the proper size, but my most recent posts are displaying the full-sized image (with it cut off). Help! I haven’t changed anything. I updated some plugins yesterday, but the problem existed before that.

You will see the problem on my homepage:

I am in the process of restoring a backup, so if you see broken links, that is why. That problem should not be relevant to this one.

    Thanks for your help.

It sounds like the ‘thumbnail’ size has been changed.

Go to Genesis > Grid Loop and look at what image size you’re using for teasers. Then go to Settings > Media and see if that image size is the dimensions you want.

If you change the thumbnail size, use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to regenerate all thumbnails on the site.

Thank you, Bill. That’s actually the first thing I tried to fix, but it didn’t work until yesterday. I think there was a plugin that messed things up after my crash. I fixed the thumbnail size again yesterday, and it worked. I have no idea how the thumbnail size got changed in the first place, but I think it’s pretty safe to say it way probably user error! Have a great day!
