This reminds me of Wendy's and the finger thing. Everyboody around town talks about how they don't want to eat there because of it, even though the chances of something bad happening are next to nothing.
And the parking lots and drive throughs are still pretty full I notice. At least here in amoral ole Houston, Texas!

heh I said they say they don't want to eat there and they talk about it a lot. I'm not sure that very many of them actually have the willpower not to go in and have a meal. I find that a lot of issues that my fellow Americans tend to gossip about tend to go without any action taken. I'd still imagine that Wendy's felt a bit of pain off the whole incident, and some of that pain is more likely to be longterm reputation. Dave was all about reputation. Did anybody wonder why the burgers are square? I've heard (and trust somewhat) that Dave was told never to cut corners. A cute story, but I think that the goal of having a good image is an excellent thing to strive for. Of course, it's impossible to please everybody, and Wendy's is another American fast food joint that suffers from quality that plauges nearly every fast food joint we have.

Where was the outrage when this issue first surfced. It was pretty apparent what the intent was when it arose the first time...sure the thread was closed, but not deleted. If it was THAT big of an issue, this would have happened then.
It only happens because someone posts something that shows up in the dashboard and people come out the woodworks to jump on a soapbox.
If you REALLY cared about the community, you would have been spending some time here, seen the original thread, and caused an uproar then.
I'm sorry, but this is just too funny. It reads like a bad script for a fight between the Bloods & the Crips.... You killed my brutha, I gonna kill yours. Damng, you shot my bro, now I gotta shoot your cuz,..... and it escalates.....
