The free version was written by crooks.

The free version is pretty useless for most use cases. This would be OK, except by time you realize the implications of some of the limitations, you have already put time into setting it up. Unfortunately, the free version won’t let you get your data out, so your time has been wasted. If the free version had let me export my data, I would have rated this higher. All apps should allow data export.
