[resolved] The files are in place, database is there, the website is gone! (4 posts)

I was tinkering and thought I might do some house-cleaning with my file structure. I have wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes installed on my root directory. I didn't think i needed them because my http://www.cpgworks.com folder actually holds all of my website stuff (including those folders). So I marked them for later deletion by renaming them. The other thing I was tinkering with was the database. I'm pretty sure the only thing I succeeded in doing was assigning a new password.

Needless to say it's all gone - or appears to be anyway. Where do I start to get it back online?

All you need to do is rename back as they were those folders are part of website.

Sorry....I should have made that clear. I did rename them back.......to no avail.

Never mind. It appears that I deleted my database (not good). Not that its any excuse but it was totally misnamed from my initial setup some time ago. I thought it was junk...
