The easy, responsive slider you were looking for

I was astounded at how hard it was to find a simple, free, and responsive slider plugin for posts until I found this lovely plugin. The slider is easy to add to sidebars or page elements through its widget and can naturally scale to the width of its container. Getting it to display the recent posts of the specific category was a breeze too. Although one might want for a couple more customization options (font colors, sizes, etc.), the lightness of the plugin is actually somewhat appreciated and offers at least the necessities. Even with all the “pro” plugins out there, I’ll probably be sticking with this one for quite a while and just tweaking it to my test due to its ease.
