[resolved] The body of my blog works it's way to the left (12 posts)

    My blog at changethetopic.com starts out centred at the top, and then as you move down posts, they move over to the left until they are up against the left side. I was wondering if there was a simple fix for this, or a complicated fix, explained in simple terms for a newbie to this sort of thing? I do appreciate anyone who takes the time to respond. I know how busy everyone is these days.
    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi Chris.

    Your other posts are being outside of the <div id="main">. Anything added inside main gets centered, anything outside that doesn't. Can you paste your code for the front page?

    I'm sorry, I don't know what that means. If you tell me how, I sure will though.

    there is somethig seriously wrong in your template (index.php ?):

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=changethetopic.com+&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Validating_a_Website

    possibly a missing </div> in the loop code.

    please follow http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Posting_Code when you want to show the code of your front page template.

    this is unfortunately the wrong index.php;

    look for index.php in this location:

    /wp-content/themes/Chunk/index.php

    Ok, thanks, here it is.

    ' . get_the_date() . '' ); ?> ' . get_the_date( 'F Y' ) . '' ); ?> ' . get_the_date( 'Y' ) . '' ); ?> ' . get_the_author() . '' ); ?> ' . single_cat_title( '', false ) . '' ); ?> ' . single_tag_title( '', false ) . '' ); ?>
    ' . get_search_query() . '' ); ?>

    ← Older posts', 'chunk' ) ); ?>
    →', 'chunk' ) ); ?>

    I appreciate all of your help,
    Chris

    there are these suspicious (hidden) links in the html code below each post:

    <div id="dwcredit"><a id="dwlogo" href="http://www.autofarm.ro" title="Piese Auto Online">piese auto online</a></div>
    </div><div id="dwcredit"><a id="dwlogo" href="http://www.autofarm.ro" title="Piese Auto">piese auto</a></div>

    there is an excess </div> in that section, which seems to be causing the breaking of your design.

    these come from a 'share on' plugin (which does not seem to be from the wordpress plugin list ?) ...

    start by deactivating the 'share-on' plugin - if that helps, look for a comparable plugin from http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ .

    otherwise, try and deactivate all plugins, and see if that solves the problem.
    then reactivate them one after the other to find the broken one.

    Wow, thank you so much. That was very kind of you to help me, and I appreciate it. I will try when I get home tonight, and I'll let you know what it was.

    You were right. It was the share on plug in. I am going to pay homage to you with your own blog post now. Thanks again.
