    Hello all,

Could someone please tell me if this is possible to achieve?
Or am I complicating matters too much due to there being a better way to do this?

I have a subdomain multisite set up.

mydomain.co.uk - main wordpress install as subdomain multisite
    subdomain.mydomain.co.uk
    subdomain1.mydomain.co.uk
    subdomain2.mydomain.co.uk

I would like to set up a multisite wordpress shop instance using subfolders off the main domain name like so, with a separate install of wordpress at - mydomain.co.uk/shop.
(I would create a subfolder called shop and install wordpress as multisite in this folder)

Once this is done (if it is possible) I would then like to be able to create different shops like so using different themes persay:
    mydomain.co.uk/shop/johndoespareparts
    mydomain.co.uk/shop/joebloggscrispydonuts
    mydomain.co.uk/shop/jonnysinkcartridges

This is so I can offer an individual online shop presence for the members of mydomain.co.uk.

Thoughts on this would be extremely appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Bleem

  2. You'd need to use a multi-network plugin for that, but yes, it should be.

    Hi Ipstenu,

Thank you very much for the reply.
Now I don't suppose you could recommend a working multi-network plugin that will allow this. I have looked at the wordpress plugin repository and the only one I could see was outdated by about 2 years.

    Your help would be appreciated.

  4. JJJ's or the one from wpebooks are both about the same level of good code. I'm not saying either one is a perfect plugin, they need work, but they both are fully functional.
