the slider is broken in IE7 (all images are just covering the page).
you might want to ask themeforest (as the seller of your commercial theme) for support with that problem.
works fine in Firefox.
generally an nice site.
I find, there is no need to repeat the slider in the paged pages – front page would be enough.
and I would like to see a thumbnail with every post in the list.
Apart from the gentleman’s advice above I noticed that your google analytics code is visible on the frontend in the footer..bottom left and your google-plus-rel-author link is visible on the the top-most left ( which i guess is supposed to be replace by an icon or something ). Never saw it anywhere else displayed in such way. Guess that is done intentionally with some purpose.
P.S – The sticky recipe background image looks really pretty. Overall a very well-optimized blog. Goodluck.
