Hi, i am looking for design inspiration for my next theme design (will release it to public once finished :) ). Just wondering what are everyone's top 3 favorite site designs powered by WP. Mine would be (in no particular order):
1. phono phunk
2. daily misery
3. webreakstuff
thanks for your feedbacks.
Phono Phunk, ROCKS!
Regards!

yeah it is a nice site. anyone else?
Well, it took some time to hunt down some of my favourites.
There is still a lot more out there, though :)
Village-Idiot
Gomi (not so safe )
Kanga Design Studio
It was my old plan to create a screenshot-gallery from my favourite designs so I had better move because some of them has already gone.
It's too bad sguler doesn't like CopperLeafPlus ;)
wow, kassad! thank you SO much. I'm flattered to be mentioned, but I dont think I can hold a candle to that kangadesignstudio site. Thank you again, though :)
Ocadia
Automatic Midnight
Negative99 :-) ok, I'm biased on that one...
At the moment, it would be my site:
LisaVollrath.com
(Currently under major construction.)
Some day, I might get a minute to look at some others...
I love, love, love the 9 rules site design, and would kill to have something like it as a theme:

I guess it depends on exactly what you mean by the word design. Without meaning to be contentious, I don't think much at all of kangadesignstudio. My main gripe is (1) the site tells me nothing unless I click on it and (2) when I do click to access the site, it throws a popup in my face.
To me, that's just rude.
On a positive note, http://webreakstuff.com/ is an example of good design: it doesn't piss me off by trying to "show off", good use of colours, good use of whitespace and nice "fluid" design which adapts to my preferred browser window size.
@pizdin_dim,
I am 101% with you about kanga...

i guess we are s'posed to mention themes by someone and not by ourselfs,
but just have to say it: i love my crossbrowser png alphablending theme :D
http://beachlevel.com
The only thing I don't like about some of the last sites metnioned were that they all start to look the same to me. There's only so many ways you can display the same thing.
There a SlashDot article right here that talks about how a user judges the worth of a site in 50 milliseconds!?!
You'd better be impressing people quickly! :-)
On a side note... who would be impressed by SlashDot on first glance? Not I.
The original poster was seeking design inspiration and asked for our opinions.
So here, we are not reviewing self-appointed designers but ones who got appointed involuntarily.
Also, we are offering our opinion on design of our own taste not on content.
It is good manners to appreciate good work and restrain ouselves from criticizing people who did not asked for it.
If there are some theme developpers or people that know theire way around in WP in here. Please help me on this topic: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/57033?replies=1
Iam designing a theme that i guess most people would like :)

Thanks kassad. Amen.
I am not looking for theme showcase. Just some best designed wordpress site out there that you know of.
Of course, most of the time, well designed sites use personal theme (they dont offer it as a download, just for personal use). Anything for inpirations and ideas will do.
But thanks for the feedback so far. Keep it coming.

I like the copperfield design aswell...
saw it over at http://www.gumball-3000.com/rally/ and a couple other sites lately...
I created a wp-design from scratch and i like it because it's different than almost all others.

Look at SoundTrip. It is a three column feed that might be of interest. http://www.soundtrip.com/
As long as we're self-promoting, jonlandrum.com.
Kineda is pretty nice, it's again different from most wp-blogs.
trc49492: I am in the process of *cough* porting the webreakstuff design to a K2 scheme. Current version is 0.1Alpha, hope to have a full beta when K2 v1 comes out.

I took one look at Andy Roddick's news page and - though it does not acknowledge WP at all, saw that it was WP. Nice design - too bad they didn't give any attribution to WP.

Our non-profit site uses WP for our blogs - each one proclaiming that it is "proudly powered" by WP.

Korean blog GT.log (J).
This blog non-english.
http://no.oneslistening.com/ is too hard to read for me.
http://www.orderedlist.com REALLY needs a version upgrade.
http://www.andyroddick.com is VERY nice, proudly powered or not.
I cant limit to three, and I will refrain from taking the lesser traveled road of self-promotion (unlike some others)
