    I'm getting this on a fresh install of 3.4.2. When I add these lines to wp-config.php to make it a multi-site:

    define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);
    define('SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', false);
    $base = '/';
    define('DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE', 'www.mydomainname.net');
    define('PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/');
    define('SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
    define('BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
    define('MULTISITE', true);

    I get the infamous "Error establishing database connection". When I remove the lines, I'm a single site, but everything works. I have verified my MySQL username, password, DB name and DB host.

    What am I missing?

    Regards,
    Eric

  2. Are you adding those all at once or, per the directions, are you adding the one, and the following the next steps?

    Never found the directions on here. If you could point me in that direction, I'd appreciate it.
