   I'm new to WordPress, but I've managed to get two blogs put together quite quickly. Nevertheless, there's one thing I can't resolve and would appreciate some help.

   At the foot of my first postings are three buttons, one of which is "Edit", and as far as I can see this enables any visitor to edit my postings, or even delete the content if he wants to.

   This can't be right, and I'm sure there's a way to get rid of this button that I've just not figured out yet. Can anyone help?

   No that's not how the edit button works. It's only when your logged in can you edit posts. If you logout and then visit you site you most likely wont see the link, or if you do you'll be prompted to log back in.
