kz1500I have seem many posts relating to the famous 406 error. I cannot see however a fix for my problem.
I have just purchased and installed a new theme, that on the whole works. When I go to configure the jQuery slider. I get a 406 error that reads as follows.
Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp-admin/media-upload.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Not only that but the theme and my WP install is then broken. I have to do a restore and start over.
I have read about the . htaccess file but I don't have one. If I create one. It gets deleted on upload.
Well and truly frustrated and stuck. Any help would be gratefully received.
