The new plugin could break many blogs where users have applied changes by using filters or actions.
New features will be made available in a new plugin. This plugin will have the look-and-feel of Lazyest Gallery, but is rebuilt from scratch and is better integrated with WordPress media.

You can upgrade all Lazyest Gallery settings, captions, descriptions and extra fields will be upgraded when you install the new plugin.
An alpha version will be available for testing later this week.
