    Hi Greggo,

If you want to always show the image descriptions, you should set the ‘Hide description box’ setting to ‘No’.

If you want to make the descriptions pop-up when a mouse hovers over the slideshow, but you do not want the animation, you should set the ‘Number of seconds the description takes to slide in’ setting to ‘0’.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Rita,

Have you set this setting on the same page where your slideshow’s slides are, or have you done this on the ‘Default Slideshow Settings’ page? It should be done on the same page you edit your slideshow’s slides.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Yes I’ve done it on the General setting. How am I supposed to change it on the page where the slideshow is shown?

    Thanks again

Not on the page where the slideshow is shown, the page where you edit the actual slideshow. If you go to ‘Slideshows’ in your WordPress dashboard, you’ll see a list of slideshow’s you’ve created. Click on the slideshow of which you want to change the settings. On the page that shows up you’ll find the ‘Hide description box’ setting that actually applies to your slideshow.

Done! Many thanks for your help! Very efficient! 🙂
