My blog which looks perfect in IE 6, Mozilla, Opera, Safari and even Konquerer, is simply a JUMBLED MESS in the new and "improved" Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. I imagine this won't be the last post to deal with this disaster. Thanks Microsoft for your infinite inability to cope with CSS!!!

Out of curiosity, does your blog validate (xhtml and CSS)?

Um. Well. IE7 is almost INFINITELY preferable to any previous MS attempt at a browser. The problem is now and will be for quite some time that people have contorted themselves and css to hack sites so that those previous MS attempts at a browser don't drop the 90% of the 'net-viewing world which uses MS's abortions into some black hole of totally unusable idiocy.

Welcome to the web-dev's world. No, there's not an easy fix. Sorry. And don't please assume that MS cares.

I checked my design.. and well just some minors bugs.. nothing serious thanks god..

At least they did improve some things.. then again it seems to have brought some sites to a black hole indeed

HandySolo- I've been running my site locally only, (fortunately I have access to many local server configs and platforms), so I cannot confirm that everything validates. I suspect that it does, however, since it looked PERFECT in IE6.
    Lord help us all!

The w3 validator will let you paste in page source. :-)

Not being argumentative, but working perfectly in IE6 should not be construed as validating.

"Not being argumentative, but working perfectly in IE6 should not be construed as validating."

How is that being argumentative? Sounded like a simple statement of fact to me. ;)

    ...hey - don't just assume I'm not offended - it's offensive.
    I'm not offended...but, well, I could be!

I could fake being offended, if it helps.

    febwa1976,
pixcentral isnt his/her blog, its where the pictures are posted. I dont think the OP cares if that site validates.

    cielogrande,
while I feel your pain, ms has had betas out for months. What your left with now is just fixing what has been broke, or ignoring it.

whooami- I appreciate the sympathy! "A-fixin'" I will go, with occasional time outs for screaming and crying fits!
