    the plugin functions, but places the tag manager javascript quite far down the page. It should ideally be immediately after the opening <body> tag.

    Hey Dan,

    Unfortunately, WordPress doesn’t have any hooks that display right after the body opening tag, so the options then are either display it in the footer, or have people modify their theme to add a custom function call right after body start — at which point, why not just paste in the GTM code?

    Seems kinda silly to me.
