[resolved] Thai language chars showing as "??????" (1 post)

I cannot get postings to show Thai language characters as they do on my other word press blogs on other servers.

This isolates it to a config issue from Cpanel-based WordPress install, or a setting on the actual Cpanel UI itself.

I would like to exhaust the possible setting issues in WordPress:

I am using the twentyten theme, I have my Settings/Reading/Encoding for pages and feeds properly set to UTF8.

I have gone into my database tables and set collation to utf8_general_ci.

I have enabled wordpress admin to work in Thai by importing th.mo and th.po files and editing wp-config.php, then reverted back, as a test to see if *any* Thai characters worked, and in fact, they did.

It's somehow an issue with actually posting, so this seems like an issue between WP and MySQL, and it could even strictly be a MySQL issue.

When I go into phpMyAdmin and edit a post, even then the characters show up as ????

I am running MySQL 5.0 on a Cpanel server. Have any of you seen this issue in WP due to MySQL 5.0?

    -k
