[resolved] Textile documentation & Last comments (7 posts)

Where do I find proper documentation on using textile? I used to use textism.com/textile, but that's currently down :(
May I suggest a X Last Comments? My comments section is quite busy, and a lot of my friends check in several times a day just to see what new comments have come in, thus this would be most handy. I'm currently using a hack, but would be more comfortable with a native solution.
Also, good job so far! I'm using it over at binarybonsai.com, and I love it.

For the Textile reference I would check out http://noeljackson.com/archives/000340/ for now. I think that's currenty.
I have a last comments hack, page, and RSS feed put together already. I'll see if I can post it after the .7 release is done but it's a little past my bedtime. ;)

I seem to have found it (buried inside the textile.php file I might add).
Though it doesn't seem to have any effect?! Do I have to manually turn it on or something?

On your last thread about Textile I posted instructions for turning it on. Long and short is you uncomment the lines at the end of b2vars.php . Like I said then, this is a temporary measure until we mod b2posts a little more to accomadate text processing instructions.

Will it bust anything up if I turn it on? (I'm digging up the old post now)

I enabled it and it's worth noting that it has created even more breaks in the old entries and comments! So now I have up to 3 breaks between paragraphs someplaces! :(
Anyway, I can get *, _ and the like to work, but bq. and hn. won't work?

I've created a reference table for the character macros offered by the Adam Gessaman plugin for the Jim Riggs port of Brad Choate's Textile 2.
Hope someone finds it useful. :-)
